1st Washington Guides

we are a small guide unit in Washington and we are looking to receive a grant from Venator. We have recently undertake a new programme and without resources we feel the girls are missing out sometimes when it comes to the STEM parts of the programme.

We come from an area that is of low income families and we want to be able to get girls into STEM.

We would love to receive a grant which will be used to buy science equipment to do experiments with the girls and work alongside their robotic challenge in which they are taking pArt.

there are several skill buildings and unit meeting activities which involve science. But we need to create more options to get these girls learning and wanting to eventually go into a job role that is involved in Stem.

We have over 15 girls in the unit and more are joining this year. Please help us
