Billingham Amateur Swimming Club

We are Billingham Amateur Swimming club based at Billingham Forum, we have over 120 members who swim at all levels including Regional, county and National level.

Although swimming is a predominately individual sport we train as a team in squads, we recently held a Boot camp/ Paddle board session on Saltburn beach for our top 3 squads and i have attached some photographs of the day to show the enjoyment had by all the kids.

If we were successful we would look to use some of the money for another boot camp but hopefully take some of our younger swimmers this time.

we currently have a few new coaches coming through and if possible would use some of the money to train them to the current standard and therefore give our swimmers a bigger chance of succeeding, our top 3 squads not only swim but also have land training sessions on a Saturday and we would also look to use the money to purchase any equipment we may need.

Being based in a council ran building means that cost are very high, we currently have to pay over £12 per hour per lane for pool hire, as you can imagine this takes up the biggest percentage of money we have coming in and we don’t often get the chance to do the things we would like to without the help from companies like yourself
