Who we are– we are Billingham Juniors Football Club, a Charter Standard Development Club formed in 1991.

What we do – we provide over 250 local boys and girls aged 5 to 16 with a safe and friendly environment to train and play football and support over 30 managers, coaches and volunteers.

Why we are applying–In 2016 we took over the site of a former cricket club and following a lot of hard work from volunteers and friends we now use the as the home for our younger teams. Whilst teams continue to work very hard to raise funds and sponsorship to cover the costs of new kits and equipment, the club organises fundraising events and applies for grants to cover the development of the ground. This summer we have worked on improving the ground and creating an additional pitch to enable more of our teams to use the ground.

How will we use the grant– This season, as more teams are using the clubhouse, we are improving the clubhouse and the work required includes:

·     Creating a changing room and space that teams can use in bad weather

·     Improving the flooring

·     Redecorating

·     Improving security for the clubhouse by replacing external doors

A grant from the Venator Together Fund would help towards the costs of some of this work.

Thank you,

Billingham Juniors Football Club
