Birtley Town FC

Thank you for the opportunity to apply for funding to help improve our football club.

We are a community Football club with 15 Junior sides including 3 girls teams 12 boys teams ranging from the ages of 7 year olds to under 16 years old.

2 Senior sides Our men’s team compete in the Northern League while our Ladies team compete in the Durham Women’s league.

Our application if successful would help us continue our improvement of our facility by creating an outdoor seated area at our ground to help make the football ground more comfortable for supporters. At present we have picnic benches situated on grass which during the bad weather which more often than not means this area cannot be used. A decking area would mean we could use all the year round.
