Consett in Focus Documentary Photography group

Our group are a not for profit group that are completing a range of documentary photography projects in our area.

We aim to include groups and individuals in the taking process to widen the use of photography and exhibit the printed images around our area.

The main aims of the groups are:-

To record for longevity various aspects of local life.

To widen the use of photography and enhance the artistic ability of our community.

To increase the interconnectivity of individuals and groups in the area.

If successful we intend to use the funds towards printing costs. Ideally we would like to print on weather resistant photo boards so we can display the project images in a variety of locations, rather than be constrained to the local community halls.
