Guisborough Ladies and Girls FC Award Icon Winner

Redcar & Cleveland

Guisborough Ladies have expanded for the coming season to create 5 brand new girls teams from Under 10’s – Under 16’s. The club has got over 70 girls involved with the game promoting the Ladies game and giving the girls the opportunity to learn new skills in a safe, engaging environment. The club is run entirely by volunteer FA trained coaches to give the girls the best start possible. We train at the newly refurbished Lawrence Jacksons School so we can train the girls all year round. It’s a great opportunity for the girls to meet new friends and build confidence as we train twice a week and play matches on a Saturday encouraging exercise and a healthy lifestyle. It’s the first time Guisborough has ever had a girls football team. It’s about time the girls have the same opportunities as the boys to get involved with the game and we intend to make that happen. The club has a great family atmosphere which makes it inviting to all. It’s an exciting time at Guisborough Ladies and Girls Football Club.

We are in need of funds to get the girls set up with their kits and equipment.
