Hetton Juniors Football Club

Hetton Juniors FC is a grassroots football club with 25 teams (22 boys teams and 3 girls teams). Our plan is to work with our oldest team to help train them to be young coaches. To do this we would like to offer all of our players a free 1 day holiday course at our base at Hetton School. The £250 would be used to pay for facility hire and the hiring of professional coaches to work alongside our U17 players to help develop them as coaches. All of our players from 6-15 years old would be invited so we would recruit 3 professional coaches for the day to coach the players that attend the day. We would make the holiday course free for all players to attend so that we can maximise the teamwork and team ethos of the club. We have made great strides over the past 18 months so develop the club and recruit girls to play football in the area. This 1 day holiday course would be another step in the right direction to raise the profile of the club and offer opportunities for the older players to stay in the game by helping to coach the younger players at the club.
