Ingleby Cycle Coaching
Ingleby Cycle Coaching is a not for profit amateur sports club which works closely with British Cycling to deliver top quality cycle coaching to children. Our focus is to offer coaching in a friendly, relaxed and fun atmosphere, in an off road, traffic free environment. We teach the foundations of cycling through to advanced cycling skills.
We have various classes which include young non-riders, under 8’s and over 8’s. Our volunteer team consists of coaches who are all fully qualified professionals, certified first aiders and have extended DBS certification. Further to this our team includes a child safeguarding staff member and our care policies are in line with British Cycling accredited club guidelines.
As a cycling club we also arrange occasional family led, off road rides where we select easy terrains and distances to match attendees and their abilities.
Ingleby Cycle Coaching is based at Conyers School in Yarm and utilises the spacious all-weather tennis courts. This provides a great location for our coaching but with your help we would like to create a new purpose built ‘pump’ track within the school boundary.
A pump track is a continuous circuit of banked turns interspaced by rollers and other features that can be ridden. Pump tracks are designed to be ridden by riders of all abilities and will help develop rider skills.
Hopefully with help from the Venator Together Fund we will be able to raise the necessary funds in order to build our very own pump track.
