North Tyneside

We are a not for profit club with 100 members from age 8 to 60 both male and female. We are run by a small group of volunteers where we offer a safe training facility promoting health and wellbeing through sport. Although we have a competitive team including national champions our main goal is to provide a service to our local community. As sports coaches we are role models predominantly for young people and we instill focus and discipline along with teamwork throughout all of the age groups we interact with. We help and advise regarding life choices and support them throughout their eduction or whether it’s to help secure employment. To help us develop as a club and sustain the ability to serve our community we depend on external community funding which is always put to good use to remain safe and provide the necessary equipment especially with many of our members coming from lower levels of deprivation. Our aim is to further support the local communities on tackling anti social behaviour by expanding the amount of sessions we can offer and increasing the building space where possible to allow us to run sessions in local schools starting at John Spence in September. We want to be an institution in the local area and continue with our success as a club.
