Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough Roller Hockey Club was established in 1947, the club is affiliated to the National Roller Hockey Association. There are over 50 members, ranging from age 6 through to age 55, and from complete beginners who have never skated through to the England Captain!

The club successfully competes at both a regional and national level across the full range of age groups (U9, U11, U13, U15, U17 and Seniors). All teams consist of both male and female members and all age groups train together on Wednesdays and Fridays at Middlesbrough Sports Village (one of only two purpose built rinks in the UK)

We would like to use funding to purchase sticks, gloves and protective knee and shin pads on a loan basis along with providing structured training sessions which encourages teamwork, positive social engagement and learning through a healthy popular and active pastime.

Our friendly club is actively recruiting new members of all ages from across Teesside

Thank you for considering our funding application, for more information about our club visit our face book page middlebrough roller hockey club or pop along to watch training
