Miss Tina’s (Sunderland) Community Interest Company Ltd

We strive to bring our community together on a continuous basis. Our venue is the former Southwick Library and was, in the past, a big part of our community and daily family life. We currently still have a small lending library (ran by volunteers) which is an excellent way to bring members of our community into the building. However, if we were to receive the grant of £250 we would like to expand this. With the funding we could run a weekly book club with free refreshments in order to encourage more of our community to engage with the facility. The money would pay for the refreshments, advertising and volunteer expenses to run the sessions. By bringing people together to enjoy a common interest we can hopefully encourage a tighter community.
