Darlington

We are the Polish Saturday School in Darlington. The main goals of the school include teaching Polish language, history, culture and strengthening patriotic feelings among children and adolescents. We are trying to create a serene, friendly and safe environment for all our pupils in age 4-16. We believe that children are born with wings and teachers help to spread their wings and fly. We try to do what is best for our pupils in terms of their progress and development in many different areas. We believe in the future of creative education and building up social skills. We are the team and we teach children how to work in the team! It will help kids communicate with others, increase their self – confidence and finally help them to develop into happier adults. We would like to buy sets of LEGO bricks and mini figures to challenge them in various types of projects and tasks. We have already built the LEGO medieval city and the legendary Wawel Dragon and we would like to develop this idea in each age group. We would like to reconstruct famous buildings, places and scenes and let groups to use their imagination! Teams will be able to plan their work, set ground rules and establish effective work methods. This will include all pupils and help them to identify their strengths. We want to make education and teamwork fun again!
