Pro Active Community Endeavours Award Icon Runner Up

Sunderland

PACE Sunderland campus works with people from across the community and we are always looking for new ways to meet needs. We have a holistic approach towards our activities and as such we orientate our works to addressing 5 areas of peoples lives; physical health, mental health, social inclusion, spiritual well being and emotional strength.

In this project we are building a community sensory garden. We are working with disabled groups from the Fulwell resource centre and Redby primary school to create a space that people can feel welcomed, valuable and relax.

We have already been successful in partial contributions to the space but in order to complete our works and add extra value we need to develop our work a little further.

We are asking for £250 towards the artwork for our garden. This will help us fill the space with colour and joy.

This project is still in implementation phase and will not be complete until March 2019
