St Augustine’s Green Goblins

Hello,

We are running an after-school stem club to engage children in engineering. The children work hard to build an electric powered racing car and then race it at various events. Although the children have worked very hard to raise funds for the car kit, tools and overalls, they still need some help to fund the transport costs for themselves and the car to get to these events in Darlington and Gateshead.

This project enables children to develop their team work skills, communication skills, problem solving skills as well as their resilience. Alongside this, they are learning how to use tools and building their very own electric powered car.
