ST. PAUL’S CE PRIMARY SCHOOL

We are keen to develop STEM among our pupils and also share this within the community e.g. parents and other local groups. With this in mind, we are planning to host an open afternoon showcasing a wide range of problem solving and scientific enquiry-based activities. We also hope to use the equipment we purchase to start an extra-curricular club with a group of pupils who show a particular talent or interest in Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths. We would use the funding to purchase a bank of resources in order to facilitate both the club and the open afternoon, which, moving forwards, would be held every term and added to. We have previously held STEM afternoons but resources are now lacking and we would very much like to launch this on a bigger scale.
