Stanhope Barrington are wanting to apply for funding to purchase a set of resources and books for science. As a school, we have gaps in missing resources that cover specific science topics. We would like the opportunity to fill these gaps so that our children can access a broad and engaging curriculum in science. This will also help the teachers in our school as it would increase their confidence in delivering lessons. As a school we work hard to provide learning in and outside of the classroom, we often take children on school trips based around science when we can, however this isn’t always possible because of funding. By purchasing a wide range of resources and materials, this would help our children gain further knowledge and understanding of different aspects in science as well as increase their scientific enquiry skills. Our main focus is to provide an engaging and exciting curriculum and the opportunity to have further resources to do this can make this happen.
