Susie Jenkins School of Dance

We are a dancing school that concentrates on exams and shows. If you spoke to any of members they would describe the school as a dancing family. Working as a team is essentials for exams and shows and something I include in every lesson plan. We desperately need a new floor and have started to fundraise for one. Ours is just a laminate floor which is being ruined by tap shoes, we need a proper dance but they cost in excess of £1000.

I’m a firm believer that the arts shouldn’t be exclusively for the wealthy, and therefore work hard to keep my prices affordable for all. Unfortunately this means, despite a busy school, we don’t take in enough to cover this kind of extra expense from fees.
