TFM Cash For Kids

Every Christmas Cash for Kids makes it their mission to help ensure that thousands of local children wake up to a gift on Christmas morning who would otherwise be forgotten. Last year in the North East Cash for Kids secured gifts for over 48,000 children who normally receive nothing at Christmas, we gave them the Christmas spirit and belief they have been longing for. We ensure gifts have longevity, encourage creativity and interaction and at least one has an educational link. Mission Christmas absolutely encompasses team work, our team at Cash for Kids is small and we have a lot of children to help. The charity counts on the whole region to join in and support mission and there’s several opportunities of how the community can help such as buying an extra gift to donate, volunteering time to help put gift packs together or by making a monetary donation. Funding would allow us to secure gifts for children in age categories we fall short of, gifts for children under 3 and teenagers is often a struggle. Mission Christmas is more than delivering gifts; it’s giving hope, experiences and allowing children to still believe in the magic of Christmas. The children that we help often go without but at Cash for Kids we believe that Christmas should be a joyful time for all.
