Wynyard Village FC under 8 development team

Wynyard village FC is a community team that provides footballing opportunities for young aspiring footballers in the local area. Traditionally there is only one team per year but due to the development of Wynyard Park there has been an influx of new families and keen footballers. We are a newly formed team, forming for the first time a second under 8’s team at Wynyard Village FC. We have a group of highly motivated and committed players that want to play football as part of team but have not been able to join a team. The players have an excellent attitude and are progressing week by week. We are inclusive of all abilities as long as they have a passion to play football! 

The team is very much in its infancy and we do not have a single bit of kit to our name! Currently we borrow equipment from the other teams so the grant would be used to purchase desperately needed kit including footballs, cones and bibs. Any excess funds will be put towards a training kit for the players. Our absolute aim is to support the development of our players and turn this development squad into a football team.
