What is Venator's Bright Ideas Fund?

The Bright Ideas Fund will award 40 grants of £250 to North East based groups and organisations that inspire innovation and stimulate learning in science, technology, engineering and maths subjects.

The fund will be open to applications from Ofsted registered educational providers, universities, not-for-profit and community groups, and social enterprises. You’ll be invited to propose, in no more than 250 words, how the money would be used to promote STEM based activities.

Proposed projects could use the grant to plan an eye-opening trip to the Centre for Life, buy new learning resources and equipment for your classroom or even attend a course at Science Central.

The Bright Ideas Fund will open for applications in early 2019. Take a look at the grants eligibility guidelines before planning your application.
