Autism Parents Together (Tees Valley) supports over 2000 local parents, carers and family members of children with additional needs, to come together in a safe and welcoming environment. We offer fun events and activities throughout the year which includes soft play, quad biking, gaming events, spa days, coffee mornings, as well as training courses covering different aspects and areas of Autism for parents and carers, and much much more.

During holidays, such as Easter and Christmas, alongside the regular weekly events, we offer themed events including a visit from the Easter bunny and Santa visits at Christmas parties and even a Santa train ride. During school summer holiday’s many extra events are scheduled for families to enjoy such as child friendly fishing with fishing coaches and laser quest. Each event is adapted for the needs of our families, promoting social inclusion, and we’ve built some great relationships with organisations across the north east. All of this is offered to families at heavily subsidised prices to make sure that everyone can enjoy what our charity provides. This charity has created a network of friendships for parents, carers and children and is an extended family for many. Always on hand to offer support and offer a listening ear or helping hand amongst many individuals that before knowing about this charity felt quite alone.

This money would help us to grow ever stronger and secure some more, much needed events for families of children with additional needs in the North East.
