Stockton Cricket Club has been a cornerstone of the local community since 1816. As a club, we provide opportunities for players, volunteers, and supporters from all backgrounds across our community through our three senior sides and ten junior sides. This season we hope to provide playing and training opportunities to over 200 children from the Stockton area. Cricket has many benefits for children:

  1. Physical Fitness - Learning cricket skills can help kids develop their physical fitness in a friendly environment and develop essential fine motor skills, improve endurance and stamina, increase balance and coordination, and improve hand-eye coordination.
  2. Inclusion - Cricket is a game that everyone can play, regardless of their age, gender, race, sporting ability, or disability. Cricket has an amazing ability to break down cultural, social, and gender divides. Boys and girls from all areas of society can play equally together.
  3. Social - Cricket is a team sport that offers opportunities for children to be social, make friends, and practice working within a team. The experience can improve a child's social skills, including cooperation and communication, and can help them develop a shared love for the sport.

Unfortunately, the cost of equipment to facilitate the training and playing for our junior cricketers haven risen dramatically. Therefore, we ask that if you can help with any financial support at this time, it would be so very much appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your support to help Stockton Cricket Club.
