Billingham Synthonia U11 Whites
Votes So Far:
Billingham Synthonia Under 11 Whites started as a team in 2017, when the children were under 7. We currently play football in the Under 11's green league of the Teesside Junior Football Alliance. We currently have a squad of 15 players most of which are local and come from the Billingham area. The team prides itself as being inclusive and has been so since our formation. The team started its initial seasons losing nearly all of their games but the children persevered results got better, and they were awarded a trophy for their excellent attitude. The aim of our team is to firstly enjoy football and the health benefits involvement our sports brings, and secondly improve the football skills of the whole team, and finally to improve the children's confidence. We are not just about football, the children are good friends and and they look forward to their annual trip to a local theme park.
Our children have outgrown their current football strips and training kit. If we were successful we would like to use the money to purchase much needed new strips, training kit and equipment for next season. Due the pandemic all of our usual charitable funding streams have stopped, for example we are no longer able to pack bags at our local supermarket. The children really enjoyed such experiences and brings them together as a team.
The children are proud to play football for their community club and be part of the Billingham Synthonia family.
