Redcar Town Lionesses u13 Award Icon Winner

Redcar & Cleveland

Redcar Town Lionesses u13 have been through so much but have shown the most amazing strength and determination to carry on and succeed where other have doubted them.

The team of 13 – 11,12 & 13 year old girls have had to find a new club to represent after their manager and previous club lost interest in the girls to focus on the boys section.

A parent thankfully stepped forward to take over as manager and they moved to Redcar town for this season.

Unfortunately the new club could not afford to provide the girls with any kit what so ever so we have been trying to source funds, we have done bag packs, tombola’s, blind cards Middlesbrough 3k sponsored run and have managed to buy a match kit for them to compete in.

we are now looking to find funds to pay for training kits as well as indoor training venue costs over the winter period so they can carry on training during the week.

We would also love to get them to the amazing flamingo land football tournament in May 2020, a fab weekend of football and fun for all the lionesses families.

The lionesses are a pack, they lift each other up when things get tough, they carry on smiling and laughing when they felt the world was against them they make us so very proud week after week, please if you can help with funding I know the whole lioness family will be so grateful.
